Air Fryer Bread Pudding
Day-old bread is the hero here. Fresh bread can turn mushy, while slightly stale bread soaks up the custard and still keeps texture.

Ingredients
- 4 cups cubed day-old brioche, challah, or French bread
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup raisins or chocolate chips, optional
- 1 Tbsp butter, softened
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F.
- Grease a 7-inch air fryer-safe baking dish with butter.
- Place the bread cubes in the prepared dish.
- Whisk the eggs, milk, cream, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
- Pour the custard over the bread.
- Press the bread gently so it soaks up the custard.
- Sprinkle raisins or chocolate chips over the top if using.
- Let the mixture sit for 10 mins.
- Air fry for 16–18 mins., until the center is set.
- Cool for 5 mins. before serving.
