Air Fryer Fruit Danish

These easy fruit danishes have a crisp puff pastry base, creamy filling, and bright fruit topping for a bakery-style treat at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed but still cold
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup thick fruit preserves or pie filling
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp powdered sugar, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Line the basket with air fryer parchment if needed.
  3. Stir the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Unfold the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  5. Cut the pastry into 8 rectangles.
  6. Score a small border around each rectangle without cutting all the way through.
  7. Spoon a small amount of cream cheese filling into the center of each pastry.
  8. Top with a spoonful of fruit preserves or pie filling.
  9. Brush the pastry edges with beaten egg.
  10. Place the danishes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  11. Air fry for 7–8 mins., until puffed and golden.
  12. Cool slightly before serving.
  13. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
