Warm Apple Crisp for Two

Ingredients
- 2 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 2 Tbsp whole wheat flour
- 2 Tbsp chopped walnuts
- 1 Tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp melted butter or coconut oil
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Toss apple slices with lemon juice, brown sugar, and half of the cinnamon. Divide between two ramekins.
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, walnuts, remaining cinnamon, salt, honey, and melted butter until crumbly.
- Spoon the crumble mixture over the apples.
- Place ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, until topping is golden and apples are tender.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Top with a dollop of Greek yogurt or light whipped cream if desired.
