Apricot Blackberry Crumble with Lemon

Concentrated air-fryer heat softens the fruit while turning the buttery crumble topping golden and crisp.

Ingredients

  • 18 oz fresh apricots
  • 5-1/2 oz fresh blackberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsps lemon juice
  • 1 cup flour
  • salt
  • 5 Tbsps cold butter

Instructions

  2. Halve the apricots and remove the stones.
  3. Cut them into cubes and place into a bowl.
  4. Add the blackberries, 2 Tbsps of the sugar and the lemon juice and mix.
  5. Scoop the fruit mixture into the oven dish and spread it out.
  6. In a bowl, mix the flour with a pinch of salt and the remaining sugar.
  7. Add the butter and 1 Tbsp cold water and rub together with your fingertips until you have a crumbly mixture.

  9. Preheat the Air-fryer to 390°F.
  10. Distribute the crumbly mixture evenly over the fruit and lightly press down.
  11. Put the oven dish into the basket and slide the basket into the Air-fryer.
  12. Set the timer for 20 minutes and bake until the timer rings and the crumble is golden brown and cooked through.
