Ingredients
- 12 wonton wrappers|2 teaspoons melted butter|1 tablespoon granulated sugar|1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon|3/4 cup whole milk ricotta cheese, well drained|3 tablespoons powdered sugar|1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract|1/4 teaspoon orange zest, optional|3 tablespoons mini chocolate chips|Optional chopped pistachios for topping
Instructions
- Lightly brush both sides of the wonton wrappers with melted butter.|Press each wrapper into a silicone mini muffin cup or small air fryer-safe mini muffin mold.|stir together the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle lightly over the wonton cups.|Air fry at 330°F for 4 to 6 mins., or until crisp and golden.|Transfer the cups to a rack and cool completely.|stir together the drained ricotta, powdered sugar, vanilla, and orange zest if using.|Fold in the mini chocolate chips.|Spoon or pipe the filling into the cooled wonton cups just before serving.|Sprinkle with chopped pistachios if desired.
Gourmet Geek Tip
Fill the cups right before serving so they stay crisp. For a thicker filling, drain the ricotta in a fine mesh strainer for 30 mins. first.
