Sticky Tofu Bowl with Sesame Sauce & Rice

Ingredients
- 8 oz firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
- 1/2 cup sliced carrots, steamed or sautéed
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Pat the tofu dry and cut it into cubes.
- Prepare the rice according to package directions if it is not already cooked.
- Heat the sesame oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the tofu for 6 to 8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden on most sides.
- In a small bowl, stir together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the sauce over the tofu and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring gently, until coated and glossy.
- Divide the rice between bowls.
- Top with the broccoli, carrots, and sticky tofu.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
