Ingredients
- 12 oz boneless skinless chicken tenders
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 4 scallions, chopped
- 1 Tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tsp sesame seeds, toasted
- 1 pinch black pepper
Instructions
- ADVANCE PREP REQUIRED
- Thread each chicken tender onto a skewer, trimming any excess if needed.
- In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, pineapple juice, sesame oil, garlic, scallions, ginger, sesame seeds, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken and marinate, covered, for at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
- Pat the chicken dry before cooking.
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F.
- Arrange the skewers in a single layer and air fry for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
