Turkey & Swiss Melt with Apple Slaw

Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole grain bread
  • 3 oz sliced turkey breast
  • 1 slice Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 apple, julienned
  • 1 tsp light vinaigrette
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp butter or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Toss shredded cabbage and apple with vinaigrette to make slaw; set aside.
  2. Spread mustard on bread slices. Layer turkey and Swiss cheese.
  3. Heat skillet over medium; lightly butter outside of sandwich; cook until bread is golden and cheese melts.
  4. Serve melt with apple slaw on the side.
