- 2 slices whole grain bread
- 3 oz sliced turkey breast
- 1 slice Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 apple, julienned
- 1 tsp light vinaigrette
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp butter or cooking spray
Instructions
- Toss shredded cabbage and apple with vinaigrette to make slaw; set aside.
- Spread mustard on bread slices. Layer turkey and Swiss cheese.
- Heat skillet over medium; lightly butter outside of sandwich; cook until bread is golden and cheese melts.
- Serve melt with apple slaw on the side.
