Tandoori Turkey Skewers with Cucumber Raita

Ingredients
- 8 oz turkey breast, cut into strips or cubes
- 2 Tbsp plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp tandoori seasoning
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- FOR THE RAITA
- 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup finely diced cucumber
- 1 tsp chopped mint or cilantro
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: cooked rice or naan-style flatbread for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the turkey with 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt, lemon juice, tandoori seasoning, and garlic powder.
- Marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Thread the turkey onto skewers.
- Cook on a grill pan, grill, or under the broiler for 8 to 10 minutes, turning once or twice, until the turkey reaches 165°F.
- In a small bowl, stir together the yogurt, cucumber, mint, and salt to make the raita.
- Serve the skewers with the cucumber raita.
